All patients at the Institute have their meals in the restaurant in the stationary where they have their lodgings. There is no self-service. meals are served on the tables, that is more comfortable and better for the patients. For not mobile patients, and those the physician has prescribed food in their rooms, both transport and serving food in the rooms are organized.
Complete food processing, distribution to distant buildings as well as serving are performed according to HACCP system, according to the Codex alimetarius CAC/RCP 1-1969, Rev. 4-2003 in order to make eatable and safe food of the desired quality, as well. Means and food supplies are under the constant supervision. Suppliers of the food are the best on the market, reliable, of the best quality and always on time. Employees dealing with food are very well trained, qualified, able and motivated for preparing food according to all demands concerning the food quality.
Food is processed in the central kitchen at the stationary “Radon“ and its capacity is 560 portions per meal. Capacity of restaurants are: “Radon“ – up to 290 places, “Zelengora“ up to 150 places, “Terme“ up to 100 places.Patients have the choice of dishes, and patients who are on dietary regime, prescribed by the physician, will be treated respectively.
The stuff is very well trained and besides making standard meals, both the kitchen and the stuff have the capacity to prepare various food for cocktail parties, formal lunch and dinner parties as well as serving snacks for the needs of Congress tourism or some other manifestations organized at the Institute.
Numerous significant recognitions at the competitions in food processing, during the previous period, are the best reference both for the skill and quality of the work for the stuff employed in the kitchen of the Institute.
